Artists dont simply mimic a style to replicate the style. Sure beginner artists may take heavy inspiration as they admire the art and want to learn from it but they are not replicating it. They are simply finding aspects they admire about the art and morphing it to fit their ever growing collection of "things" they like. With time this meshes into a completely unique artstyle. AI literally cant do that. It learns to replicste a style and cannot accurately mesh the two without creating a hideous monster. Thats because when tryint to mesh two styles with an AI thats called giving it bad data. AI art is also theft as artists have not given concent for their aet to be used to train AI. I know id be VERY pissed if someone used my work for thst purpose. That is NOT why i create art. And thats not why most other artists create art. By all means if sn artist wants to make art to train an AI they can. But ive yet to see one who want their art cheaply mimiced in the matter of seconds.
