Well spoken Sam. To summarize:
- these companies used legal loopholes to take artists work without consent and pay to profit off of them
- in the end they still are taking intellectual property and copyrighted work to train their programs. Which doesn’t sound legal at all
- people misunderstand these points and assume we want to stop ai art completely. We know can’t do that, we just want our work to be protected.
