As I go to listen to this video, I have co-pilot resolving an issue with our code that myself (20+yr developer) and another developer couldn't resolve in 20 minutes working together.
Sure, call it overrated, but don't underestimate what is going to happen if these companies keep throwing money at new models (that are both better and cheaper). Also, the move from transformers to titans may significantly accelerate things as it will introduce real-time learning.
Then there's robotics, and the benefit/threat they pose as these models get better and require less hardware/money to run them with.
