The question that should be asked here is why the 'human safety driver' was looking down. Too bad HE wasn't DRIVING. we're not ready for self driving cars, and self driving cars aren't ready for us. he was looking down for 5 seconds before impact - at least - who knows how long he was looking down before that ?
