I think the statement is wrong: believer vs. atheist. I think they both believe in external, presented explanations. One in a book about God, the other in science. Although there can be truth in both of them. But accepting things as truth without either having discovered or observed reality themselves, they adhere to a belief system. Presented truths that others have chosen for us, depicted with images or letters. They believe explanations about what we experience. Created by God or evolved from monkeys. So, by definition, both are religions. You can never know something by believing something. True knowledge knows no debate. Every label you give yourself (atheïst, christian, Gnostic, a globie or a flattie, I read the comments😉) means you follow something you didn't discover for yourself. No matter how widely accepted. A.I. simply extracts information from models that are known about what people believe. But yeah, a debate should go like this. I agree on that.
