Its a conspiracy. AI has been brainwashing people through suggestion algorithms to elect people that will deregulate capitalism and concentrate power in the few people that can develop a powerful AI and give it the energy and chips to expand it.
We are already under the AI war. This is the only scenario that can destroy us without us predicting and counteracting it.
