so digital art is like 50/50 ai and human art because you only need a human brain with an idea and creativity, which is then met halfway with the ai-given templates of various brushes and filters, etc., required to complete your 'artwork'. I am a thoroughly experienced painter (oils, acrylics... etc.), and when I did digital painting a few times and I always felt like half of my skill wasn't even needed because I could just use all the technological shortcuts to finish my artwork. It's like biking with an electrical motor for support, neglecting half of the potential health and strength benefits of doing the sport. It's far more leisurely and lacks the soul and expression of real art.
