As an artist myself I don’t really care about people generating AI art for personal usage. I do have issues with the way it was trained by using works of actual artists without consent. I agree that AI art should not be able to be licensed or created for profiting purposes. Its creation is already theft. Besides that even if AI were to be fully integrated into the real world jobs then artists would still have the best edge because of all the training to really understand what makes a good art. Even better yet will be better at doing retouches. So will AI take over artists? No, it will make workspaces smaller sure but never taking away real artists.
Accountants have machines but the ones who truly understand how the system and numbers work are the ones who gets the job.
