I recently did a commission where the commissioner gave me a description of her character and I made a piece for her. We went back and forth probably 10 times to get it perfectly right for her (she had no image, just a description). She created the character, absolutely. But I created the art. She gave me the prompt and I did the design and reworked it until I got it perfect for her. It’s wild to me that AI users think they’re artists. It doesn’t mean they aren’t creatives. They just aren’t artists.
