I had a thought midway through the video. A lot of Mom and Pop food trucks, stores, whose major customer is truck drivers will suffer heavily. Flying J or other truck stops where drivers take bath, relax, buy groceries will also suffer income loss and also mental health pain as they will lose a connection they have with drivers of different backgrounds and that drive attitude, when they come and stop at their favorite stops after a week or so, the information shared, the memories it creates will change.
Driverless trucks may not put in cabin AC, freezer, entertainment system, so those industries will also lose income.
The dispatchers at the trucking offices may decrease as it could be handled with less people, using AI.
It can be a little good for cargo like food that needs to be carried at a certain temperature as I expect AI and system can do better oversight and it drive continuously with less breaks decreasing delivery time. Reducing accidents can help cargo loss.
I don't know how the society will handle such sudden change if it happens.
