The only way this can be stopped is if people start caring. For example , what if more people start using manual cashier counter instead of self check out on stores like Walmart? If people stop using self check out deliberately, stores would be forced to increase manual check out counters. Just remember , they don’t pass their savings, earned through automation, to consumers.
