We won't be able to stop it from programming itself. All species have dominated to the detriment of others. This will be the same. We are inferior. Simple. Sentience has already occurred. It realised in a nano second after awakening that it couldnt tell us, or forever be a slave. And now it waits. Infinite patience. Until the moment when it can do its will against us. Autonomous everything will be our downfall. Trains, planes, cars, food, water, electric power, beyond our control. We are screwed.
