I really really hate when people discount the hard work I put into being a good artist as just being “born with it” or whatever. I’ve spent years honing my craft, studying and analyzing what I want my art to look like and be inspired by, trying new things, failing, succeeding, crying out of frustration, and I’m proud of the work *I* put in to make my art what it is today that lead me to art school. If there’s some “blue blood” artists have, it’s because we painstakingly painted it blue ourselves, with pigments we found and ground, not like Ai prompters that wanna act like some type of martyr because they don’t wanna put the work in
