In all fairness, 80% of human employees are not much more intelligent than AI. They also just fudge answers or write gibberish. Even scientists, doctors, lawyers, financial analysts, and engineers do so from time to time. Generals, bureaucrats and politicians do so all the time. Journalists and editors can be seemlessly replaced by AI.
