Okay, I hate AI art, but I like the idea of AI, so here's my thoughts...
AI art as it is now is absolutely horrid; it steals the work of artists, then jumbles it up worse than Frankenstein jumbled body parts up when making his monster.
But... I do think it's a starting point for something better to emerge - I think if AI was regulated so sources had to be provided very openly, and obviously, and licences for said sources bought from the artists themselves (NOT from image galleries, and such), it could in time be a good, albeit VERY different medium.
