You ignored the supply side. In a competitive marketplace, higher demand will lead to increased production. A UBI that is phased in won't cause disruptive inflation. Manufacturers will have time to ramp up production to meet demand. This inflationary argument against a UBI is silly. How is a company having a larger market to sell to bad for a company? It isn't. "Oh NO! The market for our product has expanded! Let's make the same amount of stuff and just charge more. There is no way a competitor will make more and undercut us!" Come on bro that's dumb.
