I work at Microsoft and some teams go all in on ai saying you can’t write code by hand anymore which seems unsustainable because of the tendency to get more and more bloated. My team just uses it to automate processes here and there, like please go update this dashboard, or write a script to generate this email. That saves a ton of time, and I often have 2-4 agents working simultaneously on these things. But good clean code still needs to be at the center of production systems.
