Automation allows us to focus on other things. We used to spend all morning making breakfast over an open fire. What happened to all the welders who robots replaced? Welding robots used to be science fiction. If you want a cushy office job, you're going to have to create an office job AI can't do yet, or create a job that uses AI that makes you worth 10 people.
