My idea is that the best use of AI is not to create things faster and cheaper, but to consume them faster and cheaper.
Modern economy is based on continuous growth. The problem of modern economy is not scarcity, but superproduction. There is so much that an human being can process and consume during his/her life, there are unsurmontable biological limits. AI will help to create more "perfect consumers" without the present human limitations, in order to allow the economy to continue to grow indefinitely.
