Art is meant to have meaning, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and such, beauty, meaning, and art are something that AI cannot make, AI doesn’t have a life to pull from, there’s less meaning behind a painting if there’s no story. It’s just something pretty to look at, even then it still looks off. I see so many artist with art where it’s details on details, hidden secrets to find, but if an algorithm looks at it, it erases the character, the heart, and the soul to sew it into a Frankenstein of a pretty face and no personality or life. Now that I think about it, the story of AI art feels like Frankenstein, a mess of parts to *try* and make something resembling a human.
