The advent of AI has really highlighted just how tech illiterate many people are. They hear the term "Artificial Intelligence" and assume it's just like in sci-fi where it's some sort of flawless sentient entity with the sum of all Human knowledge combined when in reality, they're just algorithms under a different name. They are designed to _assist_ work, not _replace_ it. Although to be fair, most AI tech companies are also morally bankrupt and are intentionally promoting this delusion, often outright lying about what their AI can do and how it works.
