Oh boy, they actually found the most horrible way to address this!? Even I who like AI tech find this disgusting (though I don't like big AI, they are unethical, never asks for permission and filling my search results with SEO garbage bland ai cats, I want cute cats >:( ugh!). I want GenAI to be explicitly marked as one and be separated from other human competitions and work that requires creativity for the most part. Also maybe used for more helpful stuff meanwhile? Please? ...No? sad. The are also the other means to get inspired or find the right word, you don't always need to use AI! And AI hallucinates a lot, so you can't rely on it for complex stuff, I had AI finding issues in code out of nothing and trying to fix them, only to change nothing in the code and claiming how many issues it fixed. We all understand that this "someone can't see" take is horrible and disgusting. But I just want to talk about the other part... How come AI would help underrepresented minorities to be accepted? You can't magically save yourself from discrimination just because you use AI, what are they talking about???
