As an AI scientist ( who has contributed a lot to AI in mobile phones ); I think creators like you just 'milk' this topic for views. Which is way worse. AI Art is not a new thing. We learn about it during our college years. ( at least a decade ago for me ) You're marketing it and using it in negative ways. It's the human desire to profit that ruins it. NOT AI and definitely NOT AI art Your argument is that Artists should profit from their creations. Their argument (corporations who are marketing AI) is that they should profit from it because they paid a person (like me) to fix and correct Image generation algorithms; and now they want their money's worth. From the outside, you're both just talking about petty things like money. Yes, money is petty. You making videos on this for youtube views is petty. In the bigger scheme of humanity; these things are inconsequential. There are so many humanitarian benefits to this. Someone disabled out there could create art with their voice. Someone could share their vision and their ideas with their loved ones. In the future, we'll be able to communicate with machines cybernetically ( google Kevin Warwick) - as in we'll be able to think of an email and that email will get sent; transpiring our thoughts instantly.
