When we know if humans, or dogs for that matter, are conscious. Philosophers, psychologists, neurologists etc can't agree what is human consciousness, so asking if AI is conscious makes as much sense as asking if your iphone is conscious. If you ask AI if it's conscious, of course it will think it is. "I think therefore I am." Or are you?
