Never found the "ai uses a lot of energy so bad argument terribly useful".
Why don't you stop using YouTube? Play video games? Useless wastes of electricity. The second someone raises the environmental argument I realize they decided to dislike AI first, then they decided to find the arguments against it. Sadly this was the first point made here so I'm out.
