I struggle with motivation and my mental health so often need to ask for extensions on my assignments, but never in my life will I use AI just to get it done 'quicker'. I've been told to use it by close friends and to just 'edit certain words' to make it sound more human
That's just terrifying to me, because these are often the people who are getting stellar marks in their own assignments
