I liked this interview and I think it addresses some very important issues concerning AI safety, but guys, come on! NPC's?! I mean, really... There's no place in a civilized society for such hubris and elitism. We're all people, with lives, dreams, children, friends and a unique blend of blessings and curses. But then, some of us really make it, financially and/or socially, and start calling others NPC's. That's not OK, and helping correct such attitudes may well also contribute to future AI safety.
