As a mid level dev with extensive PM experience, I use LLMs outside of my IDE (VsCode) like ChatGPT and Claude. It’s cheaper and I still have to troubleshoot and understand how the project is built. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with these IDEs ruining my codebase and not going back effectively.
