I discovered your channel only recently and I've got to say I'm impressed. Your content is so interesting and every video i have watched so far is good food for thought as well as entertaining. As for this video I think it shouldn't really come as a surprise if AI already has or will have consciousness in the future, as it has become part of the creation chain and obviously it's here to stay. Besides who's to say that we are no such products ourselves, created and designed by other entities for a purpose until us, the human race, developed self awareness and went against our creators or vice versa, at some point in time. Perhaps noone can really tell the extent to which AI will develop, yet in my opinion the best would be to simply coexist, without any thoughts of annihilation from both parties, otherwise the fear of war could become a reality and this is a scenario that nobody wants to experience.Keep up the good work.
