Biggest problem for a driverless car would be the GPS system being used. I've had it when Google maps tries to take me through closed roads. I a driver know to go around but the driverless car would just try to go through or get stuck. Maps / waze/ apple maps and other GPS apps need to be more robust in known road closure to prevent this and the driverless cars need to be robust at checking for obstacles and road signaling and signs
