If artificial intelligence becomes capable of replacing people’s jobs, who will still have an income to purchase the goods and services that companies using AI are selling? Even with a basic ‘subsistence’ income, people (I think) won’t have enough money to eat and to consume the goods and services offered by the companies that have replaced human labor with artificial intelligence…So those companies won’t be able to grow, and could even risk going bankrupt…
