I'm in computer science and I'm an artist. AI isn't going away but this is a really, really good way to stop it from becoming good. It's so sad that something that could be amazing, used as a tool and teacher is being used to cheat, bully, and remove the most beautiful parts of art. I think ai art can be fun to make obvious joke pictures but trying to make ocs, background art, and generally cheating your way out of having to draw is so actually pathetic. Also, it's so sad there's people out there that would rather consume ai garbage than talk to their loved ones
