A point I consistently see people missing is that AI that adapts (the one we were promised) needs data that adapts. But if human jobs are completely replaced, the only data that AI can base its predictions off of is OTHER AI. This results in a never-ending spiral until everything is so fucked up that AI machines do something COMPLETELY different that was collectively hallucinated, and based of previously hallucinated data.
