its impressive at a technical level but that shit looks very aimless. its not looking at anything, the pupils barely move, the face seems to only move one or two features at a time. there is little dynamism, AI is still not at a point where it can 100% replace animation to a capacity where it can be passed off or used as an alternative method.
maybe it can be used for assistance and polishing, or making quick placeholder scenes, like more lively storyboarding. But its definitely not at a stage where you can replace animators with promp engineers, not even close.
I think we wont get AI good enough to make decent animation until we can directly influence how the output behaves and looks, and real time generation still has a long way to go. we have more influence on how AI video is generated but its nowhere near enough to say we can "direct" AI video.
