I’m willing to allow cops to use facial recognition software. Then once that software matches to a ‘subject’ (not yet enough to be the suspect), the cops could use the softwares hit as cause to obtain a warrant to place that subject into a police line up. IF… subject is picked in the lineup, then they become the suspect.
But to allow an arrest warrant based off of a computer program? That’s as reckless as using a magic 8-ball to convict.
