OpenAI is already bankrupt and the data centers Microsoft built for them don’t have enough traffic to keep them afloat. That’s what this whole thing about operating systems having to do age verification is. Microsoft wants to force you to verify your age through the data center, have to run any apps remotely through the data centers and store all your data remotely in the data centers to prove that it has no child pornography or gun parts files in the data. It’s a billionaire power grab and Washington state, California and Colorado have gone along because the billionaires own their legislatures.
