The dialogue wrt to are we living in a simulation? reminds me exactly of the big reveal at the end of the famous book The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in which it is revealed that the earth is exactly that. A test program run by the super intelligent beings, which in the book were mice:) but in reality why not AI?
