Reminds me of Jared’s ride in Peter Gregory’s self-driving car in Season 1 Ep 6 titled “Third Party Insourcing” from the HBO show Silicon Valley 1st aired May 11, 2014 (What? I Googled it.). Jared ended up trapped on Peter Gregory’s man-made island, Arallon. How did he ever make it back to Palo Alto??? We were never told.
11 years later and tech bros still haven’t completely fixed it. Though, her damn kid could’ve got off his butt and walked down the hill to meet them. When I was kid we walked to school in the cold in a driving rain against the wind. Built character to deal with all this frustratingly, bad tech being pushed on us today.
