I recall a StarTalk episode where someone said that Squirrels, for example, don't have consciousness, because they are merely acting on instinct. I was somewhat taken aback by that statement, because I consider "consciousness" to be nothing more than a human contrivance. I believe that this episode puts those ideas into better perspective, among many other things. Specifically, I had never before made the connection between what I currently call AI (Artificial Idiocy) and our current political climate. But now, I'm thinking about that relationship, and what changes could be made to how education is delivered. I will be re-watching this episode many times, IF it doesn't get removed by some entity. Honestly, I think this episode is that important.
