In the perfect world of fully automated luxury space communism™, (i.e. Star Trek), we could use AI to make hard work for us, so we have more time to live with our loved ones and make art.
But in our late stage dystopia, as everything, art is a commodity, and the upper class will use every means available to reduce production costs and keep selling "art" for us.
It will never scratch our itch because unconsciously we seek art made with soul.
