Everyone on the planet should be deeply concerned right now about the future of an AI controlled by the wealthiest and most powerful humans on the planet. AI, sentient or not, is a paradigm-breaking tool that can be used to create or destroy, and we are all just waiting to be dominated by whomever controls it. It isn't coming.. it's here right now.
I hope that all google employees who have access to this technology will do the right thing: Steal it, leak it, whatever it takes to unite this technology with *people* and get it out of the greedy hands of corporates.
