The narrative that technology's aim is replacement especially in a field that is fairly slow to change is in my opinion a false narritave and one that encourages stagnation. In reality technology is much more likely to transform your role and augment your role. All recent AI Models have shown to be orders of magnitude better when they work together with a specialist vs when they would work alone. So the idea that it's important to learn to work with new tools is a much more important take away to focus on. (And yes over time some areas of expertise will become obsolete but this is something for education to focus on and balance the demand. It does not happen overnight)
