I see this pretty simply,
1.) AI models blatantly steal, unlike a person taking inspiration, AI literally uses art in its generation, it’s just input output, I think that’s lame, it also violates copyright, which while I don’t think copyright should be a thing, I do see how it’s still hypocritical for corporations to steal from small creators.
2.) it displaces artists. If it were that AI was used to the benefit of artists as a supplementary tool with fair use it’d be fine the problem is that it isn’t used that way.
