I would argue that running (simulating) many truly computationally irreducible processes on a computer would make them appear computationally reducible to humans, since computers might be able to run them millions of times faster than the actual process is running in nature or as compared to natural human computational ability. It would appear to us that many things just get solved in an instant, computationally irreducible or not.
Another possible debate point could be the question of how many of the processes that we currently regard as computationally irreducible might be discovered to be fully or partially reducible by a better function approximator (AI).
Or maybe I don't really understand computational irreducibility. Nonetheless interesting topic... Looking forward to the rest of the talk.
