IMO this is all asnine. Where are the self-driving cars? In 1 year and 4 months? He said coding has become worthless because AI can do it all, so why is the number of jobs in IT steady and projected to increase? Just because of all these "old people" running companies who prefer humans over AI? That's nuts. There are SO MANY problems in IT, and in our software, to solve. So much crap to go through. AI will finally help us get to them instead of facing an ever-increasing backlog. It doesn't replace humans. It makes us more productive.
