I hate the argument they made that they can still express their imagination and create amazing pictures. Because idk if that person has ever actually used ai before but it’s prompts, the ai does the work not you, you’re not creating anything or projecting your imagination by typing “unicorn with ice cream” and having a system create it for you. That’s not your imagination that’s technically the robots imagination and it is in no way expressing the same emotion as humans art and doesn’t pay attention to the detail and the little things that truly makes art creative and expressive. Also nobody is ever born with pure talent, it takes time, not just for artists but for musicians, writers, professional athletes, none of them are born with that talent, it takes time and practice to get to where they are today. Nobody picks up a pencil and all of a sudden they can draw the Mona Lisa at 2, nobody picks up a pen and immediately writes an award winning novel, nobody gets a piano and can immediately play Beethoven, and nobody can just immediately start playing baseball and get on an MLB team. It takes time, whether it’s professional training or practice or classes or just in your free time. Nobody is ever born with a specific talent, everybody starts somewhere (sorry for how long this comment was)
