When I was young the promise was that AI tech would do all the busy work so humans could write, paint, make music, follow their dreams... The first thing AI tech moguls came for were the arts jobs and writing... They want us all as peasants, a lot of these tech CEOs seem to think Curtis Yarvin's vision of companies owning cities and people having no democratic rights is something to aspire to, not a disgrace to humanity. They're trying to make us dependent on their product just to think.
