I could not draw, I drew a character from a book I am writing one year before AI hit the net by brute forcing my way through drawing programs and 1200 reference pictures to get my mind to understand what I had in mind and yes... tracing some lines my brain still struggled with. I felt guilty for doing so even though I acknowledged I had no other option to draw. Seeing AI "ArTiStS" claim their silly system is somehow the same as that process and defending what they do, when I felt bad for using basic lines to make up for the fact I could not get the basic shilouette and hands no matter how much I tried blind so I could focus on the details and have a reference image, baffles me.
