Since intelligence is the ability to solve problems, we need to reevaluate the scope of techniques taught to these algorithms (AI). I assume the goal of these solutions is to benefit the human race, and I hope it's programmed as well. And it will always be limited by its sources of information. The critical point will be creativity and/or reasoning. Like in the atomic race, if the enemy army uses AI, then "we have a problem, Houston." My instinct tells me the first to use it will have the advantage.
