I am a clinical audiologist and use AI both in diagnostics as well as treatment. It has been an immensely useful tool and one that I would unreservedly recommend. The concerns surrounding this tech seem to all revolve around offloading decisions of care and actual doctoring to the AI. This is far less an issue with the tool than it is an issue of lazy doctors, and lazy doctors will be a problem with or without AI.
